I made 100 shirts. Not a hundred per colorway, a hundred in total, split across eight colors chosen for the light on the Amalfi Coast. There is no second run, because the fabric lot was finite and I bought all of it. Everything below is live stock as of today. The full capsule is here.
What is the Positano Capsule?
The Positano Capsule is a single production run of 100 shirts made by Santoli Napoli in Napoli, Italy. Every shirt is 100% linen, never a blend, cut and sewn by Partenopea Camicie SRLS in Melito di Napoli. The price is $119 per shirt, which sits below our permanent core line at $139.
It is not a seasonal collection that returns next summer. The fabric was bought as one lot, cut once, and when a colorway sells through in a size, that size is finished. This is the honest version of limited, not a marketing device.
The eight colorways
| Colorway | Character | Price | Units left |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sand Stripe | Fine stripe, warm neutral, the most versatile of the two stripes | $119 | 9 |
| Grotta Blue | Deep sea-cave blue, the darkest of the blues short of Midnight | $119 | 7 |
| Midnight Blue | Near-navy, the evening shirt of the set | $119 | 7 |
| White | The one that works everywhere, from beach bar to a dinner you underestimated | $119 | 6 |
| Coral Pink | Soft, sun-washed, the colorway people hesitate on and then wear most | $119 | 4 |
| Olive Grove | Muted green, reads as a neutral against sand and stone | $119 | 4 |
| Sea Stripe | Blue stripe, sharper than Sand Stripe, L sold out | $119 | 4 |
| Coastal Blue | Pale sky blue, lightest of the blues, L and XL sold out | $119 | 3 |
Stock verified 16 August 2026. Sizes run M, L, XL and 2XL, though not every colorway still has every size.
How is the Positano Capsule different from the core line?
| Positano Capsule | Core line | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $119 | $139 |
| Fabric | 100% linen, single finite lot | 100% linen, woven by Albini in Northern Italy |
| Made in | Napoli, Italy | Napoli, Italy |
| Colorways | 8, including two stripes | 6 Italian collar, 4 mandarin collar |
| Restock | None, ever | Reordered continuously |
Both are made by the same manufacturer in the same city to the same construction standard. The capsule fabric is not Albini, which is the one thing I will not blur. It is a different mill, bought as a one-off lot, and it is why the price is $20 lower.

| Shirts | Discount | You pay | Per shirt |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | None | $119 | $119 |
| 3, the Trio | 10% off | $321.30 | $107.10 |
| 5, the Miramare | 15% off | $505.75 | $101.15 |
| 8, the full capsule | 20% off | $761.60 | $95.20 |
At three shirts you are paying $107 for a 100% linen shirt made in Italy. At eight you are paying $95. For comparison, Luca Faloni's Portofino is $260 and Frescobol Carioca is around $265, both for a single shirt.
Build a bundle from the capsule collection. Mixing colorways counts toward the same tier, so a Trio can be white, a blue and a stripe.
What I would tell you before buying
Three things.
It creases. 100% linen has no elastic recovery, so it wrinkles within two hours of wear and stays that way. If you want a shirt that stays flat, buy a linen-cotton blend from someone else.
The size range stops at 2XL, and several colorways are already out of L. If you wear L, the capsule is thinner for you than the numbers above suggest, because L is the size that goes first.
And when it is gone I cannot make more of it. That is not urgency copy, it is a supply fact, and if a colorway sells out before you decide, the core line at $139 is the ongoing alternative.
Where does the name come from?
Positano sits on the Amalfi Coast, an hour and a half south of Napoli, built vertically into cliff face above the water. The colors in this capsule came from that specific palette, bougainvillea pink, the green of olive terraces, the two different blues that the sea turns between morning and evening, and the white of the buildings stacked above it.
The shirts are not made in Positano. They are made in Napoli, which is where the shirtmaking is, and I will not pretend otherwise.
FAQ
What is the Santoli Napoli Positano Capsule?
The Positano Capsule is a limited run of 100 linen shirts in eight colorways, priced at $119 each, cut and sewn in Napoli, Italy. It was produced once from a single fabric lot and will not be restocked.
How many Positano Capsule shirts are left?
As of 16 August 2026, 44 shirts remain across the eight colorways. Sand Stripe has the most at 9, Coastal Blue the fewest at 3. Several colorways are already sold out in size L.
Why is the Positano Capsule $119 when the core line is $139?
The capsule fabric was bought as a single one-off lot from a different mill, not the Albini cloth used on the core line. Same manufacturer, same city, same construction, lower fabric cost.
Is there a discount for buying more than one Positano shirt?
Yes, applied automatically in the cart with no code. Three shirts is 10% off at $321.30, five is 15% off at $505.75, and all eight is 20% off at $761.60. Mixing colorways counts toward the same tier.
What sizes does the Positano Capsule come in?
M, L, XL and 2XL. Not every colorway still has every size. If you are between sizes, size down, because linen relaxes about a centimetre through the chest after the first wash.
Will the Positano Capsule be restocked?
No. The fabric was bought as one finite lot and cut once. When a colorway sells out in a size, that size is finished permanently.
Where is the Positano Capsule made?
Cut and sewn in Napoli, Italy by Partenopea Camicie SRLS in Melito di Napoli. Orders ship from the United States.
